Alternatives Berlin

I would absolutely recommend doing this tour in Berlin. It’s brilliant to get brought off the normal tourist track into the heart of specific areas to see the really character of the city. Our guide was excellent as well, it’s definitely worth the time

The tour we took with our guide Cameron was very interesting with a lot of insights about Berlin alternative history. The places we got to were really cool and in the end we did not even realise we had spent nearly 2h30 in such good company. We definitely recommend

My scheduled tour was cancelled (not enough people showed up) so we jumped on this tour. While unplanned, this tour was a great complement to standard history tours. Our tour guide (Dare) went above and beyond to make this tour enjoyable to my 11 year old. This tour showed us that culture is not only in museums but we can find it on the streets too!

I have been living in Berlin for a while now and was interested to see what the “Alternative tour” had to offer, especially as a person who has had the chance to experience that scene in berlin and JR did an amazing job of making the true berlin experience tangible in his tour. An excellent guide, and also incredibly considerate of people on the tour, asking if we were finding it okay, making sure we all could see and hear. It was great 10/10

Naima was an amazing guide! She is not only a history master’s student but also a true local which made this tour a perfect mix. We learned a lot about the Berlin’s history and culture, we got amazing recommendations for food and drinks and got to experience the energy of Berlin.
