Kraków’s Old Town survived the Second World War, so you’re able to feel the ambiance of the days when it used to be the capital of Europe’s largest country. Come join us for a tour around a city that hasn’t changed much since the Middle Ages to find out why it was included on the first-ever UNESCO Heritage List!
We will show you where to look to find traces of the city in its heyday in the 15th and 16th centuries, when Copernicus himself walked these streets. These were the days when Kraków teemed with the sounds of many different languages, colourful clothing and exotic goods, and people from around the world who came here seeking their fortune. But the roller-coaster of history never missed the royal city, and its days of wealth and prosperity turned to times of collapse and decline. The most recent tragedy of World War II and the hopelessness of communism are something you can still feel roiling under the seemingly calm and peaceful surface of contemporary Kraków. It was also during this dark time that Kraków was home to a young man who later changed the fate of Poland and the world. His name was Karol Wojtyła, better known as Pope John Paul II.
Like every good story, Kraków’s should have a happy ending, right? The city today will surely provide one! Join us and be ready to watch, touch, listen, smell and taste. You will definitely need all of your senses to discover Kraków!

Took the Rome walking tour on 16 June 2024. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was very much worth the time.
We were a group of 13 and Jost had us all captivated with his descriptions and history of Rome! He is very knowledgeable and passionate! Great tour! Amazing city!
This was our first visit to Rome and were excited to take a walking tour and learn a little more about the sights and history. Overall, it was OK. The tour guide was friendly however she could have projected her voice better because it was very difficult to hear given the crowds. I would suggest a microphone or headsets for the tour group. The speed of the tour was quite slow and while the tour guide gave some interesting insights at the places we stopped, there were many buildings and historical sights we passed by that went without mention. We spent a lot of time walking between sights and in prior tours the guide would always talk and give historical facts along the way. I think a lot of time could have been spent with more historical knowledge and pointing out sights along the way.
Great tour with a wonderful guide. He relayed history and information in an enjoyable manner. He enjoyed doing what he was doing make it lots of fun.
Did this tour a few days ago with Big Tom and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tom was extremely knowledgable and funny throughout the tour giving us all a great introduction to Krakows old town. Highly recommended!
