Big beautiful churches, nice Baroque palaces, grand theatre buildings, and many other places… that you will NOT see on this tour! 😉 Why? Because Berlin is way more than that. Berlin is a European capital of alternative lifestyle and street art! So on this tour, you will explore very different aspects of the German capital. You will be taken to various corners and nooks where most tourist never go.
After this 3-hour tour, you will discover a new city of Berlin. You will know why it is called a “cultural melting pot”. You will learn about the impact of Berlin’s music scene. Furthermore, you will be able to decipher some hidden messages of different graffiti and murals around the city. You will witness squat life very close to the centre of Berlin.
Our Alternative Berlin tour will allow you to feel the true vibe of Berlin!

JR was a fabulous tour guide. Learnt a lot and got to see some things we never would have come across. Thank you!
We had the pleasure of having Jason as our guide for the alternative tour, just before Christmas. He had an amazing knowledge of Berlin, both on the historical side and on the art scene, highlighting the street art in Berlin. He managed the rather large group splendidly and we can only give our highest recommendations for this tour.
Had a tour with JR a few weeks ago and it was a really great experience – started with street art around Berlin and ended at YAAM! Such a cool tour and met some really great people in the tour too which was amazing (got drinks after in Kreuzberg and at YAAM!) JR had some really lovely personal stories to share too. Afterwards, he also gave us some recommendations for places to hang and drink – can’t recommend enough! Thank you 🙂

Although Chris was a pretty cool guy and fun to talk to, the tour was very short, with almost nothing relevant to street art and graffiti. We walked and walked with no relevant tour stops. I remember having this tour 8 years ago, and it was 10 times more interesting.
RAW market was completely skipped.
Tina was great! Fun and in formative. Took to me parts of Berlin that I may not have discovered on my own
